Three villages in the highlands of Lesotho: Tloha-re-bue, Ha-Phohla and Ha-Tlhakola are currently under threat from complete or partial inundation by an immensely large new dam (currently under construction).
The following virtual tours offer an interactive, “walk through,” of each Village currently at risk. The virtual tours are one element of a larger project in which specialist partners have conducted archaeological assessments, laser scanned and modelled key features of the villages, and interviewed local inhabitants on their thoughts and experiences.
